Heat Soaked Toughened Glass is a specially treated safety glass designed to minimize the risk of spontaneous breakage caused by Nickel Sulphide (NiS) inclusions—a rare but serious flaw that can lead to sudden failure in standard tempered glass.

During the heat soak process, toughened glass is placed in an oven and maintained at around 290°C for several hours. This accelerates the expansion of any NiS inclusions present, forcing weak panes to break under controlled conditions rather than in the field—making it a trusted choice for critical applications.

Why Choose Heat Soaked Glass?

✅ Enhanced Safety – Greatly reduces the risk of spontaneous breakage.
✅ Code Compliance – Meets international standards (EN 14179-1, ASTM C1048).
✅ Durability – Same high strength and thermal resistance as standard toughened glass.
✅ Peace of Mind – Ideal for high-rise buildings, facades, balustrades, and overhead glazing.
